Alloy 800H steel is a heat-resistant nickel-iron alloy containing, among other things, chromium, manganese, carbon as well as aluminium and titanium. It is characterised by high resistance to corrosion, as well as to high temperatures. It is used in a wide range of industries such as chemicals, petroleum, power generation and metallurgy.

Chemical composition of Alloy 800H steel:

Nickel (Ni): 30,0 - 35,0%
Chromium (Cr): 19,0 - 23,0%
Iron (Fe): 39.5% (min.)
Manganese (Mn): 1.5% (max.)
Carbon (C): 0,05 - 0,10%
Sulphur (S): 0.015% (max.)
Phosphorus (P): 0.015% (max.)
Copper (Cu): 0.75% (max.)
Aluminium (Al): 0,15 - 0,60%
Titanium (Ti): 0,15 - 0,60%
Alloy 800H steel is characterised by high corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures and in environments with high chlorine, sulphur and hydrogen content. In addition, its mechanical properties remain high over a wide temperature range, from -20°C to 1000°C.

This steel is used in many industries. In the chemical industry, Alloy 800H is used for pipes, tanks, heat exchangers, separators, reactors and other equipment that require resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. In the oil and gas industry, Alloy 800H is used in the manufacture of pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment that must operate at high temperatures and in corrosive environments.

In the energy industry, Alloy 800H is used to manufacture boiler components, pipes and other equipment that operate at high temperatures and require corrosion resistance. In metallurgy, Alloy 800H is used to manufacture machinery, tools and other components that operate at high temperatures and require corrosion resistance.

In summary, Alloy 800H steel is a very versatile material that is used in many industries and fields. It has very good corrosion and heat resistance, making it an ideal material for the manufacture of equipment that operates in demanding environmental conditions.
