Description
Stainless round bar with a diameter of 50 mm and a length of 140 cm, produced from steel grade 1.4305 / 303 by cold drawing. Theoretical weight of the section: 21.9 kg.
Grade 1.4305 belongs to the group of austenitic stainless steels intended primarily for machining. This grade is distinguished by very good machinability, making it a preferred choice for serial production of components. Steel 1.4305 is used in the production of screws, bushings, fittings, turned components and other parts manufactured on automatic machines and machine tools.
Cold-drawn bars are produced by drawing steel through a die at ambient temperature. This results in higher dimensional accuracy, a smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties compared to hot-rolled bars.
