Seamless concentric reducers are pipe fittings that smoothly reduce the diameter of a pipeline while keeping the pipe centres aligned. They are made without a longitudinal weld (seamless), giving a uniform wall and improved strength-particularly important for high-pressure or hygienic systems. In our shop these reducers are offered in stainless steels suited to corrosive and high-temperature applications, and they are typically supplied as butt-weld fittings for permanent connections.
A concentric reducer connects pipes of different diameters with a straight centreline. Typical uses include:
All products in this category are made from stainless steels suited to demanding environments. We supply seamless concentric reducers in the following grades:
These grades are commonly referred to in plain language as stainless steel, acid-resistant stainless (for environments with aggressive chemicals) and heat-resistant stainless (for elevated temperatures). Our fittings are compatible with standard European and British dimensional systems (EN/BS) and with American (ASME/AISI) conventions for welding fittings.
Seamless concentric reducers are used across many sectors, from small workshop projects to heavy industry. Typical sectors include:
It is important to choose the right reducer type for the job:
For situations where flow symmetry, structural alignment and an uninterrupted centreline are priorities, select a concentric reducer.
To get the best performance from seamless concentric reducers, consider the following:
These fittings are intended for mechanical and process engineers, fabricators, contractors, maintenance teams and hobbyists who require reliable pipe diameter changes in stainless-steel systems. Whether you are specifying components for an industrial plant, fitting a marine system, repairing a heating plant or building a workshop installation, seamless concentric reducers offer a durable, corrosion-resistant solution.
Our range focuses exclusively on stainless and high-performance steels, supplied in recognised grades (1.4541 / AISI 321 and 1.4571 / AISI 316Ti). That means you get:
If you need help selecting the right grade, size or welding specification for your project, our technical team can advise on the most suitable seamless concentric reducer for your application.
