Description
Stainless round bar with a diameter of 55 mm and a length of 70 cm, made of steel grade 1.4301 / 1.4307 / 304 / 304L by hot rolling. Theoretical weight of the section: 14.1 kg.
Austenitic stainless steel with very good corrosion resistance, good weldability and a wide range of industrial applications. The material is used in machine construction, food industry, chemical industry and general structures.
Hot-rolled bars are produced by rolling steel at elevated temperatures. This method allows for a wide range of diameters and ensures good material ductility. The surface of hot-rolled bars may exhibit a characteristic mill scale layer, which is removed during further processing.
