Stainless round bar with a diameter of 105 mm and a length of 50 cm, produced from steel grade 1.4006 / 410 by cold drawing. Theoretical weight of the section: 34.5 kg.
Grade 1.4006 belongs to the group of martensitic stainless steels. This material is characterised by good mechanical strength and is used in technical components where durability and appropriate service properties are important. Steel 1.4006 is used in the manufacture of machine parts, fittings, structural elements and other industrial components.
Cold-drawn bars are produced by drawing steel through a die at ambient temperature. This results in higher dimensional accuracy, a smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties compared to hot-rolled bars.
