Description
Stainless round bar with a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 150 cm, produced from steel grade 1.4057 / 431 by cold drawing. Theoretical weight of the section: 1.4 kg.
Grade 1.4057 belongs to the group of martensitic stainless steels. This material combines good corrosion resistance with high mechanical strength, making it suitable for more demanding technical applications. Steel 1.4057 is used in the production of shafts, axles, pump components, fittings and machine parts working in environments requiring a combination of strength and corrosion resistance.
Cold-drawn bars are produced by drawing steel through a die at ambient temperature. This results in higher dimensional accuracy, a smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties compared to hot-rolled bars.
