Description
Stainless round bar with a diameter of 40 mm and a length of 300 cm, made of steel grade 1.4034 / 420C by hot rolling. Theoretical weight of the section: 29.6 kg.
Grade 1.4034 / 4H13 belongs to the group of martensitic stainless steels. This steel is valued for its high hardness, good abrasion resistance and favourable mechanical properties. This grade is used in the production of technical parts, machine components, tools and components where operational durability and wear resistance are important.
Hot-rolled bars are produced by rolling steel at elevated temperatures. This method allows for a wide range of diameters and ensures good material ductility. The surface of hot-rolled bars may exhibit a characteristic mill scale layer, which is removed during further processing.
