Description
Stainless steel seamless equal tee, outside diameter 57 mm × wall thickness 3.2 mm, steel grade 1.4541 / 321. Theoretical weight per piece: 1.6 kg. An equal tee has three outlets of the same internal diameter and is used to branch a pipeline at 90° while keeping the cross-section constant. Used in water, drainage, transfer, chemical, food-grade and sanitary installations wherever a medium has to be supplied or discharged perpendicular to the main pipeline axis. The seamless construction delivers high pressure resistance and excellent corrosion resistance.
Grade 1.4541 / 321 is a titanium-stabilised austenitic stainless steel. This grade is characterised by good corrosion resistance and is often chosen for applications where resistance to elevated temperatures and good structural stability of the material are important. Steel 1.4541 is used in the mechanical engineering, energy, chemical industries and in components of installations working under more demanding thermal conditions.
