Description

Stainless steel seamless pipe with an outside diameter of 25 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm, steel grade 1.4401 / 1.4404 / 316 / 316L. Section length: 100 cm. Theoretical weight of the section: 1.2 kg. The greatest advantage of seamless pipes is their durability. For this reason, pipes of this type are an indispensable element in the construction of installations, i.e. for the conduction of gases and liquids, heat exchangers, coils, recuperators, condensers, evaporators and heaters, and also as construction modules such as: drilling, aircraft, motorcycle or bicycle elements. Stainless seamless pipes are characterized by their high pressure resistance. See the pressure table for selected diameters.

Grade 1.4404 / 316L is an austenitic stainless steel with enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in more chemically aggressive environments. Thanks to its molybdenum content, this grade offers better corrosion resistance than steel 1.4301 / 304. The material is used in the chemical, food, marine, pharmaceutical industries and in installations and equipment exposed to moisture, chlorides and other corrosive agents.

When purchasing multiple pieces of the same product, you will receive separate sections, but cutting to any length is possible after consultation. The image in the listing does not represent the actual surface of the product. The tube is a metallurgical product in raw condition, manufactured in accordance with EN 10216-5 or ASTM 213 or ASTM 312, intended for further processing. The specifics of the band saw used for cutting do not guarantee a perfectly smooth cut surface. Cutting tolerance is -0/+5mm. Tolerance for wall thickness and diameter is no greater than T3/D3 (tolerance table). The stated tolerances apply to full lengths, and the control measurement is taken at the ends of the tube. When purchasing non-prefabricated sections other than those listed in the production certificate for a given batch, deviations from the values stated in the 3.1 certificate may be expected and this cannot be grounds for considering the product as non-compliant or substandard.
