Description
Stainless round bar with a diameter of 85 mm and a length of 40 cm, made of steel grade 1.4462 / UNS31803 by hot rolling. Theoretical weight of the section: 17.8 kg.
Grade 1.4462 / S31803 is a duplex stainless steel combining high mechanical strength with very good corrosion resistance. Compared to standard austenitic steels, this grade offers higher strength and better resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The material is used in demanding industrial applications, including the chemical, energy, marine and offshore industries, as well as in installations working in more challenging environmental conditions.
