Description
Stainless steel seamless concentric reducer (symmetrical taper), larger side 168.3 × 7.1 mm, smaller side 114.3 × 6.3 mm, steel grade 1.4541 / 321. Theoretical weight per piece: 4.1 kg. A concentric reducer has the shape of a straight cone with an axis symmetrical to both ends — it changes the pipeline diameter without disturbing the flow kinetics of the medium. Used in vertical sections of water, drainage, transfer, chemical, food-grade and sanitary pipework, wherever there is no risk of air pockets or stagnant zones. The seamless construction delivers high pressure resistance and excellent corrosion resistance.
Grade 1.4541 / 321 is a titanium-stabilised austenitic stainless steel. This grade is characterised by good corrosion resistance and is often chosen for applications where resistance to elevated temperatures and good structural stability of the material are important. Steel 1.4541 is used in the mechanical engineering, energy, chemical industries and in components of installations working under more demanding thermal conditions.
