Description
Stainless steel seamless reducing tee, larger side 33.7 × 4.5 mm, smaller side 21.3 × 3.73 mm, steel grade 1.4401 / 1.4404 / 316 / 316L. Theoretical weight per piece: 0.3 kg. A reducing tee has three outlets where one of the branches has a smaller diameter than the main run. Used in water, drainage, chemical, food-grade and industrial installations to branch a pipeline while reducing the cross-section of one outlet — typically for auxiliary connections, sensors, vents or take-offs with lower flow demand. The seamless construction delivers high pressure resistance and excellent corrosion resistance.
Grade 1.4404 / 316L is an austenitic stainless steel with enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in more chemically aggressive environments. Thanks to its molybdenum content, this grade offers better corrosion resistance than steel 1.4301 / 304. The material is used in the chemical, food, marine, pharmaceutical industries and in installations and equipment exposed to moisture, chlorides and other corrosive agents.
