Stainless Steel Eccentric Reducers
An eccentric reducer joins pipes of different diameters with offset centerlines, so one side of the fitting stays straight. Installed flat side up, it prevents air pockets from forming in horizontal lines; installed flat side down, it lets the line drain condensate easily.
Typical Applications
Eccentric reducers are most often installed on pump suction lines, where trapped air impairs pump operation, and in horizontal liquid and steam lines. For vertical lines, choose concentric reducers.
Grades and Documentation
The reducers are available in grades 1.4301 (AISI 304) and 1.4401 (AISI 316) to EN 10253-4. An EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate can be ordered with your purchase.
