Description

Stainless round bar with a diameter of 105 mm and a length of 70 cm, produced from steel grade 1.4006 / 410 by cold drawing. Theoretical weight of the section: 48.2 kg.

Grade 1.4006 belongs to the group of martensitic stainless steels. This material is characterised by good mechanical strength and is used in technical components where durability and appropriate service properties are important. Steel 1.4006 is used in the manufacture of machine parts, fittings, structural elements and other industrial components.

Cold-drawn bars are produced by drawing steel through a die at ambient temperature. This results in higher dimensional accuracy, a smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties compared to hot-rolled bars.

Sections are cut from material in lengths of 5000-7000 mm. When purchasing multiple pieces of the same product, you will receive separate sections, but cutting to any length is possible after consultation. The rod is a metallurgical product in raw condition, manufactured in accordance with EN or ASTM standards, intended for further processing. The specifics of the band saw used for cutting do not guarantee a perfectly smooth cut surface. Cutting tolerance is -0/+5mm.
