Description

Stainless round bar with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 10 cm, produced from steel grade 1.4301 / 1.4307 / 304 / 304L by cold drawing. Theoretical weight of the section: 0.01 kg.

Austenitic stainless steel with very good corrosion resistance, good weldability and a wide range of industrial applications. The material is used in machine construction, food industry, chemical industry and general structures.

Cold-drawn bars are produced by drawing steel through a die at ambient temperature. This results in higher dimensional accuracy, a smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties compared to hot-rolled bars.
