Description

Stainless round bar with a diameter of 90 mm and a length of 170 cm, produced from steel grade 1.4034 / 420C by cold drawing. Theoretical weight of the section: 86.1 kg.

Grade 1.4034 / 4H13 belongs to the group of martensitic stainless steels. This steel is valued for its high hardness, good abrasion resistance and favourable mechanical properties. This grade is used in the production of technical parts, machine components, tools and components where operational durability and wear resistance are important.

Cold-drawn bars are produced by drawing steel through a die at ambient temperature. This results in higher dimensional accuracy, a smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties compared to hot-rolled bars.

Sections are cut from material in lengths of 5000-7000 mm. When purchasing multiple pieces of the same product, you will receive separate sections, but cutting to any length is possible after consultation. The rod is a metallurgical product in raw condition, manufactured in accordance with EN or ASTM standards, intended for further processing. The specifics of the band saw used for cutting do not guarantee a perfectly smooth cut surface. Cutting tolerance is -0/+5mm.
